Our Story

Built for the Mountain.
Built for the Flats.
And everything in between.

The Beginning

Two Pillars. One Technical Standard.

For decades, the best mountain hunting gear in the world has been built for the Rockies. The best coastal apparel has been built for saltwater guides and tournament anglers. Both categories are exceptional. Neither was built for Texas — a state where the same person hunts mule deer in the Davis Mountains, stalks whitetail through the South Texas brush, and wades the coastal flats for redfish, all in the same season.

Topo & Tide was founded on that reality. Two equal pillars: Topo — mountain hunting and brush country apparel built to the Western big game standard. Tide — saltwater and freshwater apparel built for the flats, the bay, and the river. One brand. One standard. The full arc of the Texas outdoor life.

The Topo Pillar

Texas High Country.

The gear that earns its place on a spot-and-stalk mule deer hunt in the Davis Mountains is the same gear that earns its place on a pre-dawn walk through South Texas brush. Western big game hunting is the toughest proving ground in North America. If it can handle a week in the backcountry, it can handle the sendero.

Topo is built to the Western mountain hunting standard — with a Texas identity. Named after the mountain ranges, canyon lands, and senderos that define the landscape from the Trans-Pecos south through the brush country.

The System

One Technical Standard.
Every Texas Terrain.

1

Topo — Mountain

Mule deer, pronghorn, and aoudad in the Davis, Guadalupe, and Chinati Mountains. Western big game standard engineered for Texas high country.

2

All Lands in Between

South Texas brush country, Hill Country whitetail, duck marshes, and open range. Mountain-grade performance adapted for every Texas pursuit.

3

Tide — Saltwater & Freshwater

The Texas Gulf Coast and the inland rivers. Built for the flats, the bay, and the river.

The Tide Pillar

Built for the Coast. Built for the Rivers.

The Texas coast is one of the most demanding saltwater environments anywhere — wind-driven, sun-intense, and unforgiving. Poling the flats of the Laguna Madre for tailing redfish, wading the bays for speckled trout, or running an offshore rig calls for apparel built for full coastal days — long sun, long wind, long water.

The freshwater side asks just as much. Drifting a cypress-lined East Texas river for bass, throwing a fly on the Guadalupe, or working the chain of Hill Country reservoirs takes gear that breathes, dries fast, and shrugs off sun without giving up Tide's coastal looks.

Tide is a saltwater and freshwater identity rooted in the bays, flats, and rivers where memories are made. Every Tide product is named after a Texas body of water — saltwater and freshwater alike — so the gear you wear carries the place it was built for.
